Pens Rangers: Series Preview/My 5 Cents

OK, it has been decided with the Caps loss to the Cryers.

The Rangers of New York vs. The Penguins of Pittsburgh.

This, ladies in gentlemen, will be one Hell of a series.

The Pens and Rangers are the two best teams in the Eastern Conference, regardless of what the final regular season standings looked like.  Of course, these two teams both boast fantastic goaltending, some clutch goal scorers, solid young defenseman, proven coaches, a HUGE home ice advantage (belonging to the Pens in this case), and a hate for each other nearly unparalleled.

I'm going to cut to the chase:

Keys to the series:
The home ice factor- the Pens own the advantage, and must utilize it.
Goaltending- Henry and MAF cannot slip up, or they will pay the price.
Timely goals- Sid, Geno, Bugsy, Hossa, Sykora and co. must outdo Gomez, Drury, and Jags.

Buckle up.  It will be a Hell of a battle.

Pick: Pens in 6.

Nobody can beat them right now 4 out of 7 times.  Nobody.
