The Wings have a balanced attack, and there's no need to get into immense detail about their stars. However, the Penguins could have a huge advantage after some interesting developments in the nation's former automotive capital.
Nicklas Lidstrom and Pavel Datsyuk are both hurt and have missed the last two games with with lower body injuries. Those are the best two players on the team, and if they either cannot play or will play at less than 100 percent, the Pens will need to take advantage.
Datsyuk's injury could be a broken foot. At the very least, it is badly bruised. That means that if he gets the chance, Sergei Gonchar should blast a slap shot right at him...hard, low, and at the injured foot. It's not nice or classy, but the Penguins need to inflict as much physical adversity as they can on the Wings.
