As much as I hate to say it, the Flyers have a hell of a team right now.
Mike Richards and Jeff Carter, while not as good as some center tandems, are a top three duo in the league that gets the job done at both ends of the ice. Simon Gagne, Joffrey Lupul, Scott Hartnell, and Mike Knuble round out a top six that has no real weakness.
The Flyers are somewhat thin on defense, but they haven't had any tremendous issues recently on the back end. Braydon Coburn and Kimmo Timonen are a nice top two, and youngsters Luca Sbisa and Matt Carle bring youth, energy, and a bit of flair to an otherwise big and slow blueline.
Marty Biron is a very below average netminder, but with the team he has in front of him, it doesn't seem to matter much at this stage.
The Penguins have been getting contributions from a few players during their prolonged slump.
Petr Sykora, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and to an extent, Jordan Staal have managed to put the puck in the net and execute passes to allow their teammates to do just that.
Alex Goligoski will be back in the lineup.
The goaltending has been putrid, and it must be figured out.
Marc-Andre Fleury will try to right that ship against Biron.
