Penguins trade Sabourin for Mathieu Garon

The Penguins have upgraded their backup goaltending by trading Dany Sabourin, a fourth round pick in 2011, and Ryan Stone to the Edmonton Oilers for Mathieu Garon.

Garon has a 3.17 GAA on the year and a .895 save percentage. He has experience as a starter, and he can handle those duties much better than Sabourin if Fleury goes down again. He can also push MAF, since he has proven he can still be a starter.

Solid move.

No, they definitely aren't.

Sabourin is inferior to Garon, Stone didn't fit in here and is an AHL player for life, and a 4th round pick in 2011 is pretty much nothing.

You aren't Helmut, and you are a total nitwit.
